SiriusPoint names Fenn as Global Head of Marine

Bermuda-domiciled insurer and reinsurer SiriusPoint has promoted Chris Fenn to Global Head of Marine. Additionally, Anthony Grew has been appointed as Head of Cargo effective July 21st, while Giulia Argano will join the Global Claims team as Marine Claims Adjuster in May.

sirius_point_logo_newThe two appointments are strategic to strengthen the company’s global marine offering, they will be based in London. Grew will report to Fenn and Argano to Hamish McBride, Head of MGA and Program Claims.

In his new role, Fenn will lead SiriusPoint’s marine team while building the cargo, fine art and specie, ports and terminal, and marine liability offering. He joined the firm in February 2024 as the Head of Marine, London for SiriusPoint International. In the past, Fenn led marine teams during his 14-year tenure at Markel.

Most recently, Grew served at Allied World as the Vice President of the Marine Division. He has over 20 years of experience within the marine industry, previously working at CNA Hardy, ACE Group, FP Marine Risks, OMV, and Glencore.

Argano has over 12 years of experience within the marine Industry, most recently serving at Capanna Marine S.r.l., as Manager and Controller of Capanna Marine Lloyd’s Agencies. Before this, she held roles at Tagliavia & Capanna S.r.l. and Sea International Services S.r.l.

With all these appointments, the marine team will build upon SiriusPoint’s existing marine capabilities in London and International markets and via its Lloyd’s Syndicate 1945, as well as the Company’s numerous specialist MGA partnerships.
